As I write this December astrological contribution for the Acutonics newsletter we have been experiencing some substantial planetary synodic cycles during the course of November - round ups, repeats, returns and renewals. Mercury turned direct on the 20th November having been retrograde for the previous two weeks in Scorpio, trawling and hauling all manner of things from the dark and deep for re-consideration, re-flection.

Aloha! Thank you for joining me this month to explore November’s astrological weather. In this newsletter contribution I address some key planetary, solar and lunar aspects to consider and utilize in personal and private practice. For clarity, I use the Tropical Zodiac to discuss these aspects. However, I also recommend doing some star and planet gazing in the early morning (Mars) and late evening (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn) as all of the visible planets will be easily found with the naked eye at the beginning of this month.

On the day of our Fall Equinox, in the Northern Hemisphere, September 23, our Sun moved from Earthly Virgo to Airy Libra, the astrological sign signified by the balancing of scales. With our Sun in Libra, ruled by the planet Venus, we shift our focus to creating balance in our relationships and our need for healthy connection to self and others. When we think of Venus, may we be reminded of Love, Beauty and Harmony, expanding our hearts to explore deeper levels of self-love, romantic love and divine love. With the Sun in Libra, treatment strategies throughout the month include balancing and grounding! Think Venus/Mars 5th for balancing the Chakras, the appropriate Extraordinary Vessels, the Three Treasures as well as the Huato Jiaji and Baliao.

Did you ever know that you’re my hero? You’re on a Healer’s Journey and Hero’s Quest at the same time. Most of us have had incredible experiences in our lives that have brought us to walk on this path. And I just wanted to say that I see you, honor you and love you. This August as we move deeper into the season of fire, let us live in love and let us create and nourish lasting connections that kindle our passions and support our soul’s purpose. This is a time to honor the unseen forces that hold us together and to give each other high fives and hugs for being so awesome. With our solar consciousness moving through Leo and into Virgo, the energetic of collaboration and bringing our best to the table is very present. So finding ways to help each other feel supported and connected are a priority as we are being energetically called to show up, act with authority and to succeed.

The practical use of Acutonics® for the summer solstice is what this article is about. As for the subject of predictions, there are readily available sources, so we won’t do that here. This is about ritual and treatment… Let’s get down to it!

The first day of Spring made its grand entrance on March 20th with a fertile full moon on the Vernal Equinox. This was followed by the New Moon in Aries on April 5th which started with a one/two push out of the deep eternal rest of winter. We were soon joined by a powerhouse line up of Mars in Gemini and Mercury in Aires. With both planets in each other’s sign, we have experienced swift-moving-intensity times two.

Aloha! It’s so good to be able to discuss the upcoming astrological weather with you this month. April sees the Sun move from Aries to Taurus, the Charging Ram into the Obstinate Bull and with the current and upcoming planetary aspects, this is so perfectly attuned this year.

2019 began with the Year of the Earth Pig (Boar) a Big Bang with a partial Solar Eclipse on Jan 5, with the New Moon between Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. Followed by a total Lunar Eclipse in Leo, squaring the change maker planet Uranus on January 20th. The year of the Boar signifies a year of completion from several cycles. So as 2019 signifies a completion year, the eclipses commencing the New Year, marks a completion of something, that invites a grand new beginning of something else.

Happy Chinese New Year! This year we celebrate the Earth Pig! The Earth Pig brings many great qualities, including community, friendship, joy, success and self-care. Taking care of your self is key in 2019, many of us had a rough 2018 and it is time to restore our reserves within. If you are not filled up, you have nothing to give to others. Put your self first so that everyone will benefit greatly. Why not start here? Choose a treatment that calls to you and do it a couple of times a week. Take note on how you feel at the beginning and end of your session. Embrace the year of the Earth Pig and enjoy all it has to offer!
